This is my 5 th year teaching at Franklin, and my second year
teaching Social Studies for the middle school. I have taught 8
years of 6 th grade Social Studies at Glassford Hill Middle School.
Total I have taught 13 years. I also taught 4 years at the
elementary level.
I am a big fan of history and will give lectures. Students will
take notes, have class discussions, and complete “hands on”
activities. I will also have students do worksheets quizzes,
tests, and projects.
Besides history my hobbies are sports, traveling, and spending
time with friends and family. This summer I hope to visit the
last two states of the 50 that I have not visited; Oklahoma and
Arkansas.
I look forward to enlightening your children to history in way
they find it important and enjoyable to learn.
