During the weeks of March 31 – April 17, our school will be administering the Arizona Academic Standards Assessment (AASA) state test to students in 3rd-8th grade and Arizona Science (AzSci) assessment to students in 5th and 8th grade. Students must be at school before 8:15 on testing days. If students arrive after 8:15, they will NOT be allowed to enter their classroom testing session and will have to take their tests in an alternative setting. The AASA testing schedule is as follows:
- April 8 3rd- 8th grade Writing test
- April 15 3rd – 8th grade ELA and Math Part 1
- April 16 3rd – 8th grade ELA and Math Part 2
- April 8 3rd grade Oral Reading Fluency
The AzSci testing schedule is as follows:
April 3 5th & 8th grade students only
Testing tips:
- Ensure your child is at school on the assessment dates
- Bring your child to school on time
- Feed your child a nutritious breakfast
- Talk with your child about the assessment and encourage them to do their best.
