Superintendent's Message

Both campuses of The Franklin Phonetic Primary Schools have an acclaimed commitment to providing rigorous and innovative educational opportunities using academic materials that are researched based with proven results. There is also a strong emphasis on the fine arts as well as a full range of sports, stem activities such as science club and woodshop that reinforce learning through hands on experiences. Personal responsibility and good citizenship are always nurtured and encouraged as students are taught to take responsibility for their achievement and behavior.

By working together with the finest teachers available, involved parents, and community partnerships, we have been successful at nurturing every student to become an inspired learner, a well-rounded individual, and contributing member of a global community.

My husband and I are proud to be the founders of one of the oldest charter schools in the state of Arizona. Because of our fine, curriculum policies and staff the Prescott Valley campus has been serving students with excellence since 1996. We were also honored that we were the first school in Arizona to receive a federal blue ribbon award because of academic excellence. To this date the Prescott Valley campus continues to serve over 400 students in grades kindergarten through eighth with a qualified staff of approximately 50 certified and 20 classified employees. Our Phoenix campus serves approximately 100 students in grades pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. Again our tradition of small class sizes and a low student to staff ratio is prized and maintained.

Yours In Education,
Dr. Cindy Franklin
Superintendent of Schools
