Welcome to a new school year! We are so excited about our English program this year.

All students need to have a binder for class. Binders need to be separated into 5 sections:

- spelling

- reading

- writing

- grammar

- literary elements

All English students will be completing weekly Spelling assignments. Spelling tests occur every Friday (unless otherwise noted). Spelling homework assignments are due prior to each spelling test.

All students will work on one major writing assignment and one book report each quarter. Teachers will provide information about these assignments in class.

Please be sure you have signed and returned your course syllabus. This will need to be kept in your binder all throughout the school year.
