Mission
The Mission of the Franklin Phonetic Primary School is to prepare students with the academic skills and personal attributes that will allow them to be successful in their future college and career choices. Students will be able to perform grade appropriate tasks in all academic areas. Reading proficiency is strongly emphasized as it is the foundational skill upon which many other academic competencies are built. The school strives to insure that all children meet and surpass prescribed grade level expectations. Children will learn to study, behave appropriately and value learning as they are taught in an exciting orderly classroom environment. By involving parents and including fine arts and foreign language instruction within the curriculum, the school strives to meet the needs of all students and please all families, including those who favor a more traditional approach to education.
